This is not just a disease that affects Trump's increasingly addled thinking (federal control of schools?). When Thomas Friedman talks of "being China for a day" he is really fantasizing about having the absolute power to avoid the grubby, frustrating work of compromise and negotiating. Well Trump was the absolute dictator of his business dealings and the result was four bankruptcies.

Very true. Something I've said often that really ruffles feathers is that much of Trump's rhetoric mirrors that of the left, he just says it coursely and without guile.

Either that or he’s just impressed by all those world records Kim has set! Man if Trump has read any newspaper out of North Korea I’m sure he’s heard about them!
