When it comes to fictional drama, I like Madam Secretary. The husband in the show is a theological scholar and he talks about Thomas Aquinas a lot, which I get a kick out of. But if you'd really like an excellent show to really jumpstart some good political study, I would suggest watching John Adams, which is available on HBO Max or for rent on Amazon Prime.
In my experience, most people who disparage Locke never really understood him. They have a straw man version of him in their heads.
I'm starting to study politics and I want to learn English by watching something on Netflix, what do you recommend?
