It’s been a very long time since I read The Black Cauldron. Good book! I don’t remember much of the series, because I was a little young, but maybe I’ll have the opportunity to revisit them when I have children someday. Great reference!
You do a good job drawing out the fine line walked by the likes to Churchill and Zelensky. Churchill clearly desired very much to be a great man, and he was. But it’s a difficult line to walk and it comes with tremendous temptation.

It's a great one to read with children. And they can read it again as teens; it acquires new meaning with age, like a lot of good books.
It's hard! And Churchill had a lot of faults, too. Lincoln is another good example--it's obvious from his own writings how ambitious he was.
